Product Description
Commercial plywood is a big category of plywood aside from phenolic film faced plywood. It includes almost all kinds of plywood except those for concrete formwork use. The other commercial name of this product is ordinary plywood.
Interior Plywood
Interior plywood is intended for use in non-structural applications where a high-quality aesthetic finish is required. Interior plywood is bonded with glues that are not waterproof. It is used for cabinets and other inside construction where the moisture content of the panels will not exceed 20%. Typical applications include internal wall panelling, furniture and fitments, interior door skins and ceiling linings. Interior plywood must not be used in exposed, wet or damp conditions.
Exterior Plywood
Exterior plywood is a type of plywood used for exterior conditions. It can tolerate humid and wet conditions. This type of plywood is usually made with a waterproof and strong bond. Typical applications include packaging boxes, house roofing, container flooring etc. Exterior ply with a good veneer core can be classified as marine plywood.
